It's been a fabric-y week for me and hurray! I've done this! - admittedly not quite finalised inside, but the finishing touches will follow this week, hopefully with lots of 'pretty junk' ideas to add to it! And this is just the beginning of my fabric frenzyas I've just managed to orderhere some amazing textile bouquets that I'm so excited to start snip snip-ing, sewing machine here I come again!
When a child, I travelled to a timeless place that never seemed to change. I played and laughed and looked up at the sky that had a pure blue colour and then it was time to go home. Then I used to dream about the place with the purest blue sky, huddled up at the bottom of the mountain altar. I heard once upon a time there was a door at the top of the mountain where I used to play. I went to play again and again every summer, under the same blue sky that I dreamed but could never see the door. Until 2012. That's when the place with the bluest sky called me to find it. And since then I've been climbing. The mountain of rediscovering who I have been all this time and who I really am.
